Create a Student in less than 30 seconds


Overview: How to create a student in OT Wizard.

I recommend that each new user creates 1-2 "Test" students.  Each student should be a general age that they work with.  For me, it would be a preschool aged and an early elementary aged student.  When you create those test students, you can try out all features in a safe way. 


Create a Student:

  • Log into OT Wizard
  • Students Tab
  • Add Student (top right)
  • Add Name, DOB, Gender and Primary Language
  • CLICK "Test Student" if the student is made up.  Will not count toward metrics.
  • You are done!  You only have to complete required fields to create a student but can come back and update more fields at any time. 
  • Use your test students to navigate and try out the other features.

Idea
Pro Tips: Although you only have to fill in required fields , you can go back and add more field information later in order to make automations work better.  For example, if you want to send a Form later (teacher or parent), adding their name and email in the student profile will make it populate when you send a Form.
