Overview: Quick tips on how to ensure that your finished report looks spiffy


Your report is generated. Now what?  If you need to input your report into an EMR system (like medical based providers that bill insurance) then you want to make sure you follow these directions.

The only critical step is to export your report as a .doc , THEN you can copy and paste if needed.  Why?  When you export your report as a .doc, the formatting is preserved.  If you just copy and paste right from OT Wizard then your report is going to have unnecessary padding, spacing and just look funky.  If you have a Chromebook then your exports will open as Google Doc.  If you have a Macbook or Windows , then it will save the .doc file on your computer and then you can open it with your integrated word processing document or import to Google Docs.
